    Do you want to join an innovative team working on spreading the mission of the Church? TAN Books is seeking a web developer to help maintain and improve our websites. This is a great opportunity for those who are deeply knowledgeable about the Catholic faith, as well as for those who share our passion for advancing the mission of TAN Books.

    The successful candidate will have a proven track record developing high-quality, user-friendly websites and experience working with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript coding, as well as familiarity with middleware technologies. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide creative architecture solutions to improve website performance is essential.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop websites and applications appropriate for a wide range of devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, develop design solutions and ensure all tasks are completed according to schedule and budget constraints.

    Write quality code in various languages (such as HTML5, CSS3, PHP).

    Strive to enhance website user experience through effective layout design, feature optimization, usability testing and middleware technologies.

    Monitor site analytics data on an ongoing basis in order to recommend best practices for website performance optimization.

    Troubleshoot technical issues related to the website platform or programming codes quickly and efficiently.

    Requirements:

    Minimum 2 years' experience in web development.

    Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / JQuery / AJAX etc..

    Knowledge of web standards, accessibility requirements & cross-browser compatibility issues

    Understanding of object oriented design principles (UML)
    Familiarity with Middleware technologies
