Position Overview: The Director of Annual Funding & Alumni plays a key role in advancing the mission of Holy Trinity Diocesan High School by overseeing the annual fundraising initiatives, special events, and alumni engagement.
Position Goal: This position fosters cross-departmental collaboration to deliver clear, consistent messaging, expand outreach, and deepen alumni and community engagement, driving greater participation in fundraisers and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
Annual Fund Plan, implement and execute the annual fundraising plan to meet fundraising goals. Monitor and analyze donor history and capacity to inform campaign strategies and goals. Manage a portfolio of donors. Prepare and present regular reports on progress towards fundraising goals. Plan and execute special events. Generate and circulate donor communications and newsletters. Manage donor database to ensure accurate gift tracking and to inform solicitation strategy. Manage donor stewardship efforts including acknowledgements, recognition and reporting. Assist in the development of marketing materials.
Alumni Develop and implement alumni engagement initiatives, including reunions, networking events, newsletters, and volunteer opportunities. Build and continuously update an alumni database to support alumni outreach. Strengthen alumni relations through meaningful engagement opportunities and consistent messaging. Promote a culture of alumni giving and involvement in school life and advancement efforts.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree 1-2 years of experience in Institutional Development and/or Alumni Engagement. Applied understanding of basic fundraising principles and development best practices. Strong prospect identification and qualification skills Experience in fundraiser event coordination and logistics. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and presenting skills. Experience in database management, ideally Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Suite Experience with online fundraising, email marketing using Constant Contact, and internet research.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000, standard Diocesan benefits package. 35 hours per week - Monday through Friday. Some work outside of the standard workday will be required periodically for special events
