Math Teacher 9-12

Cathedral Preparatory School and Seminary is seeking a full time Math Teacher, grades 9-12, to begin September 2023.

- Must be Catholic and an exemplar of Catholic values in and out of the classroom;
- BA/BS and in Math required and/or MA/MS Degree in Math strongly preferred;
- Must be proficient with the NY State Math curriculum;
- Must be cognizant of current educational best practices;
- Must be able to incorporate primary and secondary sources into lessons;
- Must provide instruction to students on synthesizing information from documents using information from documents in writing;
- Must be proficient with current educational technology including SMART, iOS, internet, etc;
- New York State certification in Secondary Education, Math preferred.
