Director of Evangelization and Family Program

The Director of Evangelization & Family Program upholds the mission of the Church to evangelize and bring others to Christ. Critical to the position is the ability to utilize and incorporate new media and methods, and explore new approaches, outreach, and creative initiatives that will strengthen Christian Formation.
Establishes an overall evangelization and faith formation plan for families as a component of the overall parish plan.
Plans, develops and executes the Family Program for religious education grades 1st-4th , including recruiting, training and forming volunteers for the program, developing the yearly calendar, selecting and developing themes, preparing and executing the hands-on activities for the families and creating a family friendly environment for each monthly session and special event.
Supports all faith formation programming of adult, young adult, family, pre-school and elementary, middle school and youth ministries
Researches and selects appropriate materials and media for programs and processes; and keeps abreast of the current national trends and issues within family catechesis, evangelization and youth ministry.
Fosters discipleship among all parish ministries. Works with other parish ministers and staff to promote cohesive, effective evangelization programming.
Implements ways to reach out to those active, inactive and the unchurched in our community.
