High School English Teacher

Christ the King High School is seeking a full time English teacher for hire immediately.

The candidate for this position:

- Must have an earned Bachelor's degree in English or a closely related field minimum.
- Must have New York State teaching certification in Secondary Education or enrollment in certification program.
- Must be familiar with NYS English curriculum and NYS Regents standards in English.
- Must be cognizant of current educational best practices and educational technology including, SMART, iOS, internet, and willing to include these technologies into planning and teaching
- Must be willing to incorporate the school's Catholic values in teaching.
Candidates who are willing to coordinate extracurricular activities are preferred.

Salary is based on education and experience.

The school services students from grade 9 to grade 12. The mission of Christ the King High School is to create a inspiring learning environment that embraces our Catholic values.
