Science Teacher/STEM Specialty Programs Coordinator
Job duties include:
Be able to prepare, plan, and model engaging lessons
Manage the Fabrication Lab, and support teachers in utilizing the different features of the Fab Lab across disciplines
Create and oversee curriculum utilizing the features of the Fab Lab
The successful candidate should possess:
a Master's Degree in a field related to science or science education, or is expected to begin working towards a Master's Degree, to be completed within five years
strong subject-matter knowledge and passion for teaching Chemistry, Physics, Engineering
commitment to the mission, vision and values of Fontbonne, which include a willingness and ability to work within a culturally diverse environment for the betterment of the education of the young women in our charge
a willingness to participate in extra-curricular events
excellent time management and organization
effective written and verbal communication skills
We expect this position to include sections of a project-based learning physical science and engineering course as well as Chemistry and Physics subject to change based on the needs of the school.
