Coordinator of Youth Ministry

St. Patrick's Church, Victor, NY is seeking a Part-time Coordinator of Youth (10-15 hours per week) to coordinate middle school and high school youth ministry. This position has the potential for full-time status for the right candidate willing to develop and grow the program. The Coordinator reports directly to and collaborates with the Director of Christian Formation.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, planning and leading both middle school and high school youth ministry with the vision of parent-led catechesis: parents as primary catechists. The Coordinator will utilize a team approach in implementing programs. This entails recruiting and overseeing volunteers.

Candidates should be an active, practicing Catholic with strong organizational and communication skills, plus three years' experience in parish ministry. Experience with sacramental preparation for Confirmation is preferred. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or equivalent Diocesan Certification preferred (those pursuing certification or degree may be considered for this position).
