The Church of St. Michael in West End, New Jersey is seeking an experienced, part-time, Business/Finance Manager to act as administrator in support of the Pastor's responsibilities to the Parish.
This is a key Parish management position. The Business Manager works along with the pastor and other members of the leadership team to ensure the smooth operation of the parish which includes overseeing the physical, financial and personnel resources of the parish.
Job Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, a proven ability to problem-solve and multi-task effectively, budget management, strong supervisory and interpersonal skills, computer knowledge, and a good understanding of the culture and structure of the Catholic Church.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field, plus 5-10 years of experience to include accounting and financial reporting, vendor management, and payroll administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
Major responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial files and records, preparing and reviewing budgets, handling accounts payable, maintaining the general ledger and bank reconciliation, processing payroll, building and facility management.

The range for this position is $29.00 to $43.00 per hour. .
