We seek a Music Director who is a professional musician rooted in an understanding and appreciation of the Roman Catholic Faith and its Liturgy and who will support the singing culture of our community. The candidate will possess passion for our faith and the mission of the church as well as a great ability to work in a team environment.
Areas of Responsibility:

Accompany on piano and organ at three of our weekend Masses (5:00 p.m. Saturday Vigil, Sunday 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.), Holy days, and special services.
Oversee musical liturgy planning, ensuring uplifting and engaging music. Includes preparation of worship aids.
Work with instrumental ensembles for regular and special Masses. Coordinate/hire/schedule outside musicians.
Must have a strong understanding of the human singing voice and be able to coach and mentor cantors. Responsible for cantor schedules.
Must have experience conducting and be familiar with liturgical choral repertoire. Directs the Adult Choir (11:30 am Sunday Mass) and accompanies the Children's Choir (Sunday's 9:30 Family Mass)
Provide occasional musical support to ministries of the parish.
Play for weddings and funerals.
