Travel Account Manager

Job Duties
Travel Account Manager organizes group travel, issues invoices, and documents, books air and land, works directly with high profile national clients and international suppliers on a daily basis. You will manage all aspects of a group trip from inception to culmination working with 30 plus groups per year. Your work will be challenging, demanding, and rewarding. You are the critical frontline for our business.
Responsibilities
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
Communicate daily with group leader clients, travelers, suppliers, and ground services through email, phone, and mail
Process registrations, issue invoices, track payments, and issue travel documents
Negotiate pricing and service terms with suppliers and partners
Research and develop itineraries for many groups traveling to different international destinations simultaneously
Proofread and edit brochures, contracts, and marketing materials that support your groups
Update spreadsheets, databases, and registration software with confidential, financial, and non-financial information
Tracking and reporting on registrations, reservations, tickets, events, payments, etc.
Being an on-call primary point-of-contact while groups are traveling
Traveling internationally for FAM trips, site inspections, or to accompany groups
Requirements
At least five years of proven experience in the travel industry
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Be highly organized and focused on details
Ability to set priorities and solve problems
Be a strong team player with a customer-service approach
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, G-Suite, and online applications (CRM tools, registration systems, etc.)
Exquisite communication, both written and verbal, tact, and people skills
Ability to travel internationally for at least 12 days at a time (Passport required)
