Coordinator of Campus Ministry

The Office of Evangelization is considering the addition of a full or part-time position(s) to assist in or coordinate diocesan campus ministry for two universities. This position requires a zealous, self-motivated, mission-minded individual who is willing to actively engage both undergraduate students and campus officials.

Responsibilities:
Formulate, in cooperation with the staff of the Office of Evangelization, the strategic plan for campus ministry in the diocese.
Execute the strategic plan which must include spiritual, theological, social and service-oriented initiatives.
Counsel students individually on spiritual, moral, and personal growth issues.
Encourage participation in diocesan campus ministry events.
Maintain Campus Ministry's presence on campus.
Coordinate Sunday Mass at each campus, including promotion, planning, management of ministries, chaplains and music ministries.
Establish and maintain a relationship with the school's administration and ensure the Church's welcome on campus.
Assist the Office of Evangelization staff in the other work of the Office of Evangelization, including diocesan initiatives and events, participation on the diocesan social media team, and any other duties and responsibilities delegated by the Vicar and/or Director of Evangelization.
