Position Title: Resident Services Manager
Employment Status: Full-Time - 40 hours per week
The Resident Services Manager is responsible for providing case management, advocacy and support services
for pregnant and parenting women fleeing homelessness, domestic violence, sexual violence, emotional abuse
and human trafficking living in our Catholic, 24-hour transitional housing home. Responsibilities also
include supporting and assisting the director in the management of residents, volunteers and staff.

-Team oriented and able to implement trauma-informed services to our residents.
-Previous eperience in a supervisory role with young adults.
-Previous experience supervising volunteers.
-Proficient with MS Office.
-Previous shelter, residential husing, family violence or sexual assault experience (Preferred).
-Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
-Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
-Provide coverage when staff or volunteers call out.
-Possess a current unrestricted NH or other state driver's license.
-Provide for or arrange all resident transportation.
-Current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or able to become certified within two
months of hire.
-Background either in Social Work, Public Health or Nursing preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ensure the safety and stability of all residents, staff and volunteers
-Provide intake and case management services for all residential clients
-Conduct needs assessment for each resident and make appropriate referrals as needed
-Set up and coordinate life skills classes, ensuring residents are completing Bright Courses
-Plan and carry out religious teachings and traditions in sync with the liturgical year
-Establish and maintain all schedules for resident household responsibilites, individual
work and educational goals, weekly mass and required medical appointments
-Hold weekly check-in meetings with residentrs to discuss daily issues and progress on goal setting
-Hold weekly House Meetings with all residents to ensure team building
-Monitor on-going resident needs during program and implement post program follow-up
-Update on a weekly basis the status of long and short-term goals of residents and
ensure they are being met
-Aid in keeping resident files commprehensive, current and confidential in acccordance with state
and program regulations
-Assist staff and volunteers in responding to difficult situations, including issues of resident
behavior, resident-resident conflicts, etc.
-Complete all case management documentation in a timely manner
-Attend weekly staff meetings
-With board approval, attend professional development trainings
-Provide for or arrange all resident transportation
-Implement and oversee volunteer mentoring program
-Other duties as assigned
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
-Assist staff with development of evidence-based programming related to ACES and trauma
-Assist staff and volunteers with trainings relateed to ACES and trauma informed care
-Develop group programming to support positive interaction and relationships of residents
and between residents and staff/volunteers
-Provide back-up supervision for overnight staff on an on-call basis every other weekend
-Maintain an up-to-date resource directory
-Coordinate a yearly calendar for the planning and implementation of special events
-Serve as a liaison with non-profit partners and housing agencies
-Attend staff/board retreat twice annually as scheduled (on Saturday mornings)
-Along with the director, interview all potential residents.
-Conduct drug testing, alcohol testing and pregnancy testing as required
-Schedule emergency preparedness training of residents
-Provide managerial support, direction, supervision and training to the staff under the
guidance of the director
-Develop and maintain relationships with other ministries/organizations that meet client needs
-Assist the director in the development and establishment of all routine operating policies
and procedures necessary for the efficient operation of SGP
-Answer and screen incoming phone calls, answer the doorbell, making sure visitors sign in,
in the absence of an administrative person.
-Covers for the director temporarily, in case of illness or vacation.
