Located near the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Saint Clare's is a Catholic Montessori school seeking a full-time Adolescent Program Co-Teacher for the 2023/2024 school year.

Saint Clare's is a Catholic Montessori school in the Diocese of Reno, in its fifth year of operation, serving fifty students. At Saint Clare's we combine a vibrant Catholic community, an authentic Montessori curriculum and a passion for outdoor exploration and adventure. Anchored in Saint Clare's love of the eucharist with school wide participation in weekly mass and adoration, our mission is to help students know the Truth, love the good and to grow into the fullness of their created potential.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate interested in working collaboratively to help shape the school's newly minted Adolescent Program (7th & 8th grade) class (now in its second year of operation). Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside other talented educators while contributing to the team by teaching 7th and 8th grade humanities classes including language arts, history, writing workshops and literature seminars as well as assisting the class with a variety of weekly projects including greenhouse gardening, cooking, woodworking and more! Essential to a Montessori Adolescent Program is the ability to challenge students with engaging multi-disciplinary project-based learning.
