About Cristo Rey St. Viator High School
Cristo Rey St. Viator (www.cristoreystviator.org) is a Catholic college preparatory high school that serves young men and women in grades 9 - 12. The school welcomed its inaugural freshman class in 2019 and has grown to 255 students today. Cristo Rey St. Viator is located in North Las Vegas on a newly constructed beautiful campus with no debt. The school has one of the finest facilities in the Cristo Rey Network of schools with modern classrooms, athletic facilities, technology, a student chapel, dining commons, and a black box performing arts studio - all a part of a safe and secured campus.

Cristo Rey St. Viator is sponsored by the Clerics of St. Viator, also known as Viatorians (www.viatorians.com). The Viatorians are an international Roman Catholic religious congregation comprised of priests, brothers and lay associates. They have served the southern Nevada region since the 1950's in parish ministries, social justice programs and agencies, and Catholic schools. Their mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ and his Gospel to those whom they serve, and work to raise up communities where faith can be lived, deepened, and celebrated.

Students at Cristo Rey St. Viator benefit from a college preparatory curriculum that integrates academics, professional work experience, co-curricular activities, and service to empower success in high school and college. One hundred percent of Cristo Rey St. Viator students participate in the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), a distinguishing feature and program of a Cristo Rey Network school.

About the Position
The President will inspire organizational and professional confidence to a wide variety of stakeholders. Her/His primary relationships include senior school administrators; board members; business, religious, and civic leaders; donors; the Cristo Rey Network; and the Clerics of St. Viator.

This President's role is largely external facing and forward looking. S/He will be expected to be a high-profile ambassador for the school in the Las Vegas business, philanthropic, and faith communities. S/He will focus on community engagement, strategic planning, organizational development, fundraising, and financial sustainability. The school employs a President-Principal model, whereby the President's role is strategic, outward facing, and futuristic while maintaining the mission and financial integrity of the school. This allows a Principal to focus on day-to-day operations, academic outcomes, and overall the student experience.

Professional Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
• Practicing Catholic who is comfortable articulating how social justice is a manifestation of her/his faith
• Articulate and inspirational communicator
• Management experience, including team building and staff development
• Fundraising and business development
• Networking and relationship-building, both internal and external
• Experience working with communities with limited economic resources
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
