St. Patrick Catholic School, a diocese of Lincoln school under the Episcopal leadership of Bishop James D. Conley in Lincoln, NE seeks a dynamic, faith-driven principal to lead its active and energetic family community starting July 1, 2025. St. Patrick has a long rich tradition of providing excellence in academic and religious education in Lincoln since the early part of the 20th century. St. Patrick has a very diverse PK-8th student population of approximately 190 students with a strong tradition of faith that is incorporated in all that we do, every day.
The principal will oversee academic and religious education for students in Preschool through 8th grade, ensuring the integration of Catholic values with a rigorous curriculum that includes core subjects and specialty programs. The ideal candidate will embody the school's Catholic mission, fostering a strong school-parish partnership and modeling Catholic teachings in all aspects of leadership. This role requires a commitment to excellence in both educational and spiritual guidance, supporting staff, students, and families. The candidate will be a practicing Catholic that has a spirit to evangelize and educate young people, and who understands that teaching is an art and can inspire and direct teachers to reach their full potential. The candidate will also exhibit good administrative and social skills to interact with parents and students, and will have the ability to communicate and work effectively with the Pastor, who is the Chief Administrator Officer of the school. The principal is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school, caring for teachers, students and families, providing a spiritual and educational experience for all. Supervise the religion curriculum and ensure staff development to support the religious mission of the school.

Coach, develop and support teachers in their professional development.
Oversee curriculum development, technology integration, and student achievement, ensuring academic excellence and ethical use of technology.
Manage faculty hiring under the leadership of the CAO
Manage the onboarding and professional development of faculty ensuring high instructional standards.
Create and maintain a productive community where there is a positive learning environment, effective communication, and shared responsibility.
Maintain positive communication with stakeholders (staff, parents, parish), and facilitate regular updates on school initiatives.
Oversee compliance with federal, state, and diocesan policies.
Supervise daily operations, including teacher evaluations, policy reviews, and student performance data analysis, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
Promote positive staff morale and a sense of community and collaboration among teachers and the broader school community.
Manage student recruitment and enrollment processes.
