Coordinator of Adult Faith Formation

This job is for 30 hours per week to start with potential to grow.
As a member of the Evangelization and Discipleship Team, the person in this position will oversee formation for adult discipleship at St. Gerald Church through the planning, coordination and execution of faith formation activities, small groups and programs. The Coordinator will ensure appropriate collaboration with other staff and volunteers who will lead studies and programs for adults.
Job Functions:

Oversee and implement adult faith formation events, programs and activities, including but not limited to Bible Study, marriage enrichment, retreats, conferences, etc.

Coordinate, promote and form the leaders for Discipleship Quads.

Coordinate, promote and form the leaders for Called & Gifted gift discernment.

Support and encourage the volunteers who run Nazareth small groups, young adult ministry, and other enrichment programs for men, women and married couples.

Collaborate weekly with the Evangelization and Discipleship Team. This includes working with the other members of the Evangelization Team in developing, promoting and executing plans for evangelization and discipleship formation.

This role involves; planning, organizing and executing as needed, recruiting and coordinating volunteers to serve in discipleship formation ministries, and working with the Communications Director for marketing and communications appropriate to the activity.
