K-12 Head of School

The Head of School works as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe traditional Catholic learning environment that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school.

Achieving strong Catholic formation and academic virtue requires that the Head of School work collaboratively to direct and nurture all members of the school staff and to communicate effectively with parents. Inherent in the position are sharing in the responsibilities for scheduling, curriculum development, extracurricular activities, personnel management, local/parish outreach, fundraising, student enrollment, parental involvement, and facility operations.

The preferred candidate will have:

A deep love of the Catholic faith and a full sacramental and prayer life

Teaching and leadership experience in a school environment

Proven ability to teach, manage, lead teams and develop individuals

Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills

Strong track record of fiscal responsibility and ability to fundraise effectively

Understanding and appreciation of Classical education

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Practicing Catholic in communion with the Magisterium of the Church
- Full support of, and a dedication in learning more about and adhering to, Divine Mercy Academy's mission, vision, policies and practices.
