7-10th History and Literature, 7-8th Religion and Language

Divine Mercy Academy is an independent classical school offering preschool to grade 10 in the Catholic tradition. DMA is looking for passionate, hardworking candidates to fill a 7-10th grade history and literature position for the 2021-2022 school year.

As a school, DMA rotates through four historical eras, Ancient, Roman, Medieval and Modern. Literature selections will tie in closely with the historical era, either by date written or theme. The instructor will teach following a classical model which weaves other disciplines seamlessly into student lessons and will collaborate with other teachers. This individual must also supervise student work periods in conjunction with other faculty, attend faculty meetings, and communicate well with both students and parents.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Practicing Catholic in communion with the Magisterium of the Church
- Desire to work with adolescents and form them in the Catholic Faith

The qualified candidate is an enthusiastic and motivated Catholic educator in the pursuit of DMA's primary goal - to form students into saints.
