Vice President of Advancement

Rochester Catholic Schools (RCS) in the Diocese of Rochester-Winona is a body of five Catholic schools, connected by a mission to provide an exceptional education that is rooted in truth and ignited by faith. Through rigorous curriculum, real-world application, and a wide variety of extracurricular choices, RCS is committed to helping its students grow - in mind, in body, and in spirit - through their journey from preschool through grade 12 and beyond.

First inspired by the Sisters of Saint Francis in 1877, RCS embraces a legacy of delivering high quality Catholic education to the youth of the greater Rochester area in southern Minnesota. RCS works collaboratively with six area parishes, and the Pastors of those parishes are members of the Rochester Catholic Schools Board of Trustees. The priests celebrate a weekly Mass for each of the school's campuses. Today, RCS serves a total of 1347 students with a staff of over 250.

RCS seeks an experienced advancement leader for the role of Vice President of Advancement. As the leader of the school's advancement team, the Vice President must bring a proven track-record of major gift philanthropy to grow RCS's fundraising efforts. The Vice President will also support the Lourdes Foundation which provides over 140 scholarships for students in Rochester Catholic Schools. The Vice President will report directly to the President of RCS.

Collaborating with the President, the Lourdes's Foundation Board of Directors, RCS's Board of Trustees, the Vice President will ensure that advancement priorities align with RCS's mission and strategic plan. The next Vice President of Advancement will be expected to bring leadership, data-driven advancement strategy, and proven capacity to engage board members, alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends in support of implementing RCS's vision.
