Headmaster of Holy Family Academy

Holy Family Academy seeks a headmaster starting in the 2023-2024 school year. Holy Family serves 210 students in PK-8th grade with a dedicated faculty and staff. Catholic education is at the heart of the evangelizing mission of the Church to "Go and make disciples" (Mt 28:19).

Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis are vital to the evangelizing mission of the Church. They strive to provide an education that is authentically Catholic: a formation of the whole person in the light of Jesus Christ. Holy Family Academy is a Catholic classical school, dedicated to excellence in education and fidelity to the Magisterium. We strive to cultivate a joyful Catholic culture supporting families in the formation of their children's holiness, virtue, and reason.

However, "The project of the Catholic school is convincing only if carried out by people who are deeply motivated, because they witness to a living encounter with Christ" (Congregation for Catholic Education, 1997). The successful candidate will establish, demonstrate, and promote the highest standards of excellence in Catholic culture, academics, and organizational leadership.

Other requirements include:

- A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church who is able to provide a credible witness of the Catholic Faith

- A deep commitment to the importance and mission of Catholic schools

- A master's degree in Catholic school leadership or its equivalent (or in progress) preferred

- A minimum of three years teaching or administrative experience in Catholic schools
