Description
The Development Associate for Data Management is a part-time position responsible for gift entry, gift acknowledgement, reporting and data management for all fundraising efforts. This individual should be fluent in constituent relationship management (CRM) software, preferably Blackbaud Raiser's Edge. A minimum of two years of experience in this area is required. The position reports to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and is an integral part of the development team, working in collaboration with the CDO, Donor Relations Manager, and the administrative team.

Associates degree in computer science, information systems, business, marketing, communications, philanthropy, nonprofit management or a related field from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Substantial experience can be taken into consideration for the education requirement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages CCSEM's Raiser's Edge donor database, including maintenance, global changes, gift entry, reporting, queries, and data cleanup projects.
Accurately enters all contribution and donor information.
Develops and delivers clear and accurate reporting and tracking vehicles, as well as instructions for reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
Efficiently and accurately produces queries and reports, including generating mailing lists.
Develops, runs, and reviews routine donor and gift reporting audits to ensure accurate gift entry and acknowledgment.
Collaborates with Finance Department to reconcile monthly development financials.
Generates and mails timely gift acknowledgement letters.
Produces mailing lists, pledge reminders, and donor invoices on a timely basis.
Helps to create and implement standard operating procedures for constituent data management.

Experience
Minimum two years of experience using constituent relationship management software (CRM), preferably Blackbaud Raiser's Edge. Experience working in a nonprofit philanthropic setting is preferred.
Hours/Pay:
This is a part-time hourly position averaging 20 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. This position involves office-based work and the potential to work remotely. Occasional travel to other Agency offices, events, benefactor and/or client locations as required by position responsibilities and/or Agency management.
