Immediate opening for a part-time Church Relations & Community Coordinator to help cultivate and support strong relationships with area churches, faith communities, and community organizations. Working closely with the CEO and the Hope Development and Outreach team, this critical role works to engage partners in the Hope Clinic mission, promoting involvement through prayer, gifts, and volunteer service. Position will work approximately 20 hours per week and offers paid time off in addition to a generous paid holiday schedule.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
Ability to faithfully support and articulate Hope Clinic's mission, vision, and Christian identity
Ability to effectively communicate the value of church partnerships
An ecumenical approach to interacting with a diverse group of Churches and faith communities
Time management skills to ensure consistent communication with Hope staff team and external partners
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong public speaking and relationship building skills
Flexibility to accommodate occasional event planning and attendance
Other requirements include:
BA in related field
At least two years' of demonstrated, relevant experience
Marketing and event planning experience preferred
Essential functions include:
Act as point person to field inquiries and general information from churches and community organizations to facilitate involvement and partnership opportunities
Regularly communicate with program staff to stay current on organizational events and identify potential engagement opportunities for external partners
Work to identify new church and other community partners
Regularly communicate with external partners to promote engagement opportunities
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to facilitate greater engagement of church partners
Assist in the production of events and materials related to churches, faith communities, and other organizations
Maintain key contact information for churches in various databases
Develop volunteer opportunities for faith/church partners; train and support volunteers
Provide administrative support for CEO and church relations programs and events
Provide administrative support to our prayer and pastoral teams
Provide tours to church partners visiting Hope Clinic
Manage Hope Clinic partnership process, including data collection, tracking, and reporting
