The purpose of the offices of the Diocese of Saginaw is to foster effective evangelization, collaboration, and communication among the priests, deacons, religious, and lay Faithful; leverage the collective gifts and talents of the local Church to proclaim the Gospel in word and deed; and share, under the guidance of the Bishop, the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ in joyful expectation of a New Pentecost.

Project Manager for the Chancellor Summary
The Project Manager leads major projects, including preparation for and follow-up on corporation meetings and resolutions; assisting in legal and canonical matters, overseeing safe environment record-keeping & training, and drafting policies and procedures, while supporting, educating and monitoring for effectiveness. The Project Manager leads the effort to digitize records; develops record-keeping systems effective for civil and canonical purposes; organizes and hosts workshops and other events sponsored by the department as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree
• Project Management experience
• Experience with document management systems (e.g., implementation, on-going management)
Critical Qualifications/Skills:
• Leadership skills in project management, facilitating effective meetings, and documenting processes
• At least 5+ years' work experience with proven administrative and project management proficiency
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office 365)
• Detailed oriented and strong data analytic skills
• Capacity to meet deadlines and to present material in a professional and useful manner
• Excellent organization, writing, communication, and interpersonal / relationship-building skills

AREA KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
OFFICE of the CHANCELLOR • Lead the transition of diocesan paper records to electronic format
• Organize documentation of corporations and communicate with contact persons and board members to set meetings, share documentation, respond to inquiries
• Track canonical and legal concerns, assuring proper record-keeping and facilitating communication
DEPARTMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate with Archives to assure proper maintenance of historical records
• Facilitate the comprehensive operations of Youth and Child Protection Office, to assure accurate record-keeping, effective training, and data collection
• Collaborate with consultants and other diocesan and parish personnel as needed.
