Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata, a joyfully Catholic, classical co-educational school in MetroWest Boston serving grades 9-12, seeks faithful and talented educators who have a passion for Catholic classical education to serve as full and part-time faculty members of our school, which will open in September 2025.
We are currently accepting applications for part and full-time teaching positions across multiple disciplines, including: - Mathematics - Science - Humanities (Theology, History, Literature, Latin, Philosophy) - Fine Arts, Music, and Drama - Physical Education
Qualifications: - A bachelor's or master's degree in a related disciplinary field is required. - Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience in and passion for Catholic classical education. - Candidate must be a practicing Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. - Candidates must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. - Candidates should have experience contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
Responsibilities: - Participate in the House System, which is designed to promote character and virtue and to help students grow in holiness. - Attend daily Mass with the student body. - Assist in leading spiritual retreats and other school activities.
