Mission Outreach Coordinator
The Mission Outreach Coordinator of Family Rosary works under the direction of the Director of Family Rosary USA and reports directly to him.
The Mission Outreach Coordinator will assist the Family Rosary team in implementing its vision and conducting its mission. This person works as part of the Family Rosary team in the articulation of the message, planning of strategies, and execution of the mission in general and particularly for our face-to-face initiatives and programs. Such as:
o Presentations, workshops, and retreats in parishes, schools, and other organizations
o Retreats, group visits and other programs in the Museum of Family Prayer, in collaboration with the Museum team
o Development of services and relationships with dioceses and other Church organizations with regional and/or diocesan reach, particularly to "train the trainers"
o The Try Prayer Contest
o Rosaries for the World
- Will represent Family Rosary at local, regional, and national events
- With the Director of Family Rosary USA defines programs
- Collaborates with others in other departments of HCFM, e.g., Catholic Mom and Family Theater Productions to foster and insure coherence, unity, and synergy in our mission
- Studies, analyzes, and evaluates the effectiveness of strategies, and content, delivery of programs together with the Director and others on the Family Rosary and Museum teams
Requirements for the Mission Outreach Coordinator:
1. Bachelor's degree. Catholic theological formation, with a desire to keep learning
2. Previous experience in evangelization, both face to face and digital, with an aptitude for the New Evangelization. Strong motivation to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, particularly in the family!
3. As a mission position, this person should be a practicing Catholic with a strong spiritual life, faithful to Church teachings and discipline. Must possess a knowledge of Catholic teaching, practice and customs, especially family prayer and the Rosary
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills to present information and ideas effectively
5. Self-management skills for planning, organizing, and adapting to ministry needs
6. Demonstrates the ability to work as a member of a work team in an environment that values humility, zeal, smart thinking and acting
7. Proficiency in relevant platforms and applications, such as Office 365, and initiative to foresee and keep up on new digital trends and strategies for evangelization in the family
8. Interpersonal skills for collaborating with others on tasks and for building relationships
9. Enthusiasm and skills for participating in a creative team that is mission, research, data and audience driven
10. Ability to work a flexible schedule to reach family audiences when families are free
11. Knows, respects, and embraces the mission of Holy Cross Family Ministries, Family Rosary, Family Theater Productions, and the Congregation of Holy Cross and the Catholic Church
12. Knows and abides by the policies and procedures, and guiding principles of Holy Cross Family Ministries
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
• Commensurate with experience and as agreed upon with the Director of Family Rosary USA and Chief Personnel Officer
