The Department of Psychology at Assumption University (Worcester, MA) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applications with specialization in human neuroscience or biopsychology, broadly defined, are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be committed to undergraduate teaching and advising as well as service to the university and greater community. The ideal candidate would teach introductory and advanced courses in human neuroscience (particularly perception or social and affective neuroscience) as well as fundamental courses in statistics and research methods.
The candidate will also have the opportunity to teach courses within their area of expertise to contribute to our growing offerings in human neuroscience. Candidates must also be able to provide evidence of scholarship and promise of developing a research program. We are especially interested in candidates whose research program can offer opportunities for undergraduate student collaboration.
