Coordinator for Confirmation Formation
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ellicott City, Maryland, a vibrant Catholic parish, is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Confirmation Formation. The youth minister's responsibilities for Confirmation Formation of 9th graders and other high schoolers would include recruiting, interacting with youth, parents, and families, organizing and training a team of adults and peers to assist, planning with the team gatherings with prayer, activities, and lessons, and leading a retreat. The right candidate for this position requires self-motivation and excellent organizational and communication skills. Applicants must be practicing Catholics with a strong desire to live and share their faith, as well as having a preferred minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in theology or youth ministry or certificate with related degree experiences, such as in education, counseling, or pastoral care. Salary negotiable, based upon experience and education, for this 20-25 hour per week position. Social media and technology skills are helpful.
