Middle School Science and Math

Mother of God School, an authentically Catholic and Academically Excellent PreK-8th grade school, is recruiting a full-time middle school teacher for Science and Mathematics to join our team for the 2022-2023 school year.

Responsibilities
**Teach three sections of Science to 6th-8th graders
**Teach one section of PreAlgebra to a mixed grade level class
**Serve as the homeroom teacher for 7th grade
**Participate in the life of Mother of God School and work as a team
**Provide robust, differentiated, multi-sensory, and research-based
instruction to students who desire to learn and engage with Scientific principles and studies
**Participate in e-cybermission, GEMS, Project Based Learning, and Science/Engineering Fair

Qualifications
Required
**Receive a valid teaching certificate within three years of hire
**A strong Science and Mathematics background
**A bachelor's degree
**A practicing Catholic/Christian with a buy-in to the Mother of God School Evangelistic Mission
**Patience for all learners

Preferred
**Experience in teaching middle school students
**Masters Degree
**A desire to grow with our school for years to come
