    Description

    The Diocese of Portland has an opening for a Benefits Coordinator/Human Resource Generalist. This integral member of the HR team handles all aspects of the benefit programs offered by the Diocese. This includes medical, dental, vision, life and long term disability insurances as well as pension for lay employees. This position also works with active priests with regard to medical, dental and vision coverage. Support is additionally provided to retired priests in regards to obtaining and maintain Medicare supplements and dental and vision coverage. Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of benefit administration experience, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to maintain confidential information.
