You have:
An active, curious mind. An inclination for learning and discovery. A can-do, solutions-driven attitude.
Attention to detail and thoroughness but also a sense of urgency and high output.
Aptitude for both qualitative and quantitative information.
Ability to clearly and concisely record and communicate your research in ways that assist major gift officers' work and help fulfill and maximize donors' philanthropic passions and objectives.
A level of comfort both working solo as you conduct your research, and with others as you partner with the team to help foster exceptional stewardship and top-notch donor relations.
Good judgement. Discretion in handling confidential donor information.
You might also have:
Proficiency and aptitude for databases, experience with CRM databases such as Salesforce non-profit.
You're a wizard with Excel or Google Sheets, you pick up various software easily.
Background in data analysis, statistics, or data mining.
Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research in your work or field of study.
Experience or familiarity with fundraising or development research is a plus, but not required.
