PR AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Part Time - Work from Home
Sprout Studio is a growing team of Catholic Professionals who love their faith and care about putting people first, both when it comes to our clients and their customers, and our employees and their families.
Our mission is to support businesses and ministries that are passionate about making a difference in the world. Our ministry division, Catholic Support Services, provides care for Catholic clients, who love their faith and are reaching millions of customers with products and services that change their lives for the better.
We specialize in building and running high quality websites that are the backbone for ministries and businesses. We also provide ongoing consulting, web technology and marketing support for these organizations to grow.
Apart from our love for the faith, what makes us unique is that our experience comes from having built our own Montessori education business first. We are good at what we do because we’ve first struggled through it and have found ongoing success.
Our ministry division, Catholic Support Services, has also developed some in-house ministries: cpros.org & recatholic.com offer free services to help Catholics grow both spiritually and professionally.

Context of this Position
Our CEO founded Sprout Studio several years after the creation of Montessori By Mom, which is a Montessori subscription service that offers themed curriculum boxes for home, school & daycare. Both businesses are fully functional and growing, and there is overlap of employee involvement in each.
In addition, our team is constantly creating new tools and products at the service of the Church. For example, we built and run this Catholic hiring portal you’re using right now, and also a Catholic formation website which is expanding in multiple directions.
As a Marketing company we are already well connected, especially in the Catholic world, however we haven’t had ample time or resources to engage and grow relationships with business partners, ecclesial authorities, media outlets and the many opportunities for growth and synergy. We are poised for growth and want to give people and organizations the attention and care they deserve.
Above all you are good with people. You excel at communication and connection. However, this is combined with the ability to understand business relationships, strategy and synergies. You are a team player, but can also carry your own projects and responsibilities, and push to get things done. You have an intuition for catching opportunities and for honing in on the real needs of organizations and individuals, but you are also prudent, strategic and respectful. You are also good with technology, so that relationships can be fostered, nurtured and cared for meticulously and consistently.
PR and Relationship Building
Your responsibility is the management of all the relationships that our business has with the Church, other businesses and organizations: such as universities, dioceses, parishes, schools, ministries, etc.
You will also be responsible for our presence in the Media, especially as regards the promotion of events, products or services that can be easily communicated to and received by the public.
You will be in tune with national events and communities where synergy is possible, and manage those opportunities. As needed, travel may be required to be present at events.
The work is 100% remote, however you will be expected to work according to a set schedule in close collaboration with the whole team via online communication systems.

You are highly proficient in using and learning online computer systems and tools.
You have excellent typing skills, and are highly proficient in the use of computer programs.
Other Skills that would be a Plus
Familiarity with ministries and organizations outside your local parish setting.
Current knowledge of our key online systems would be a plus: Google docs & sheets, WHMCS, Clickup, Clockify, Wordpress etc.
Experience having managed a CRM database.
Experiential knowledge of the GTD system, or teamwork according to Patrick Lencioni would be a huge plus.
Education / Experience
Simply be able to demonstrate you have successfully employed the skills and qualifications listed above.
Compensation and Hours
The position is 100% remote work with some travel required.
$15-25/hr depending on previous experience.
20-40hrs per week, depending on what additional work could be taken on.
You will be hired as a contractor.
