Youth Minister

Church of the Nativity, Leawood, KS is seeking a full-time, dynamic, high energy, consistently visible, and creative Youth Minister to join the Campus Youth Director and Christian Formation team. This position will be responsible for working directly with the Youth Director to aid in the coordination of pastoral youth ministry for the entire campus including High School Youth, Junior High Youth from both the parish school and religious education program, and parish Young Adults. Ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic who can work well in a team dynamic closely collaborating with the Campus Youth Director and the Director of Religious Education, displaying strong communication skills through a variety of points of contact, exhibiting interpersonal skills to foster mutual support from families of youth, and a passionate love for sharing Jesus Christ with all youth, knowing any contact with them is a touchpoint of evangelization.
Qualified applicants should have at least 2 years experience in youth ministry or qualifying degree, have or be willing to receive VIRTUS training, and pass a background check.
