The literacy interventionist is to fulfill the mission of St. James School by developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction, within established curriculum guidelines, to promote intellectual, social, and physical growth in the subject matter that will contribute to student development and achievement. The position oversees implementation of content area curriculum, participates in professional learning communities, and practices research-based strategies. The literacy interventionist will conduct FAST screening for K-5th grade in addition to provide push-in and pull-out services for students who need additional support in reading, math, and English.

St. James School has a long-standing tradition of providing a well-rounded education in a Catholic setting for 150+ years.
