We are seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) with proven success in nonprofit fundraising and donor stewardship, capable of developing and orchestrating a plan including managing a portfolio of donors.
Your top priority will be cultivating and securing major gifts to fuel our growing ministry.
As a representative of Spoke Street, you will cast vision to people of great faith and affluence and ignite them to passion and action in support of our work.
Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and directing a comprehensive fundraising plan that promotes engagement with our passionate donors at all levels.

Responsibilities:
Reach all major gift goals.
Work closely with and equip the CEO and team to establish strategic development plans.
Contribute as a member of the leadership team ensuring the mission maintains direction and momentum.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with the current portfolio of donors and research and cultivate new prospects.
Research and compose grant proposals.
Keep abreast of innovation in the area of philanthropy and fundraising.
Foster a culture of philanthropy that aligns with Spoke Street's core values.
Qualifications we're looking for:
Humble, hungry, and smart.
Proven track record of success in fundraising.
A passion for connecting people to people and people to mission.
3-5 years of fundraising experience at a nonprofit preferred.
A proactive self-starter who can manage multiple projects at once.
Experience using Donor Management software for maximum benefit.
Comfortable utilizing tech. We're the "Slacking" (bonus points if you get it), Google Meet-ing, Google Suite kinda team.
Some travel required.
We're also the praying kind; so spiritual conversations are commonplace. While we don't require you to be Catholic, most of our team members come from a spiritual background. As part of our leadership team, this person should be all in for the Kingdom- that includes growing in discipleship as well as authentic Christian community.
