The Muncie Pastorate, composed of three dynamic parishes and a Preschool through 8th grade Catholic School in Muncie, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Adult Formation and Family Life. The Coordinator of Adult Formation and Family Life will collaborate on a pastoral team directed by the Director of Evangelization to foster adult faith formation initiatives for the Muncie Pastorate. This individual will develop creative and high-energy outreach, catechesis, and formation ministries for post college adults. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with the Coordinator of Religious Education and Sacramental Prep to provide opportunities to enrich the faith life of families.
Bachelor's degree in Theology/Religious Studies or equivalent preferred.
Experience with catechetical programs in a Catholic parish (or school).
Ability to coordinate spiritual retreats and Catholic conferences.
Demonstrated skills in program organization and administration.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, clear and kind in person and in writing.
Practices a deep prayer life rooted in regular participation in the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
Desire to know God, and to share God's love with children and their families.
Able to adapt to a flexible schedule (frequent evenings and weekends) while also holding regular office hours at some time during the week.
Diligent and thorough about following up with people and tasks.
Prefers working in a collaborative, creative process within a team.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
Able to pass and maintain diocesan child safety protocol.
