Saint Joseph Parish, a vibrant, Catholic, faith community of over 900 families and a large, PK-8 grade school in South Bend, Indiana, seeks a full-time Director of Stewardship.
As a member of the parish's Pastoral Team, the director will be responsible for promoting the concept of stewardship as a way of life among our parishioners, organizing initiatives to encourage offerings of time, talent, and treasure for the work of the Lord and His Church.
Qualified applicants will be practicing Catholics demonstrating a passion for cultivating Christian stewardship in the parish setting in accordance with the U.S. Bishops' pastoral letter, Stewardship: A Disciple's Response. Experience with organizing events and recruiting and supporting volunteers and ministry leads is desired.
The position also engages in parish development efforts, including fostering relationships with parishioners, school alumni, and other friends of Saint Joseph for the purpose of finding and cultivating partners to financially support Saint Joseph Church and School in the living out of its mission.
