The Audio Director is responsible for crafting the audience's audio experience of each of our productions. Responsibilities range from developing soundscapes, recording original audio, operating recording equipment, directing foley sessions, managing a library of audio assets, analyzing scripts, collaborating with artists, and developing creative vision.
The Audio Directors mission is to create immersive audio that tells clear and exciting stories. They will accomplish this through sharing our team's passionate and creative commitment to bold, exciting storytelling through audio. The Audio Director's role is essentially a creative collaborative role, in which the only limit is your own imagination. The Audio Director is responsible for producing audio productions on schedule and according to agreed-upon deadlines.
Seeking those who have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts or field related to the entertainment or audio industries. Professional experience working in production, music recording, radio, and/or vocal production. Must have experience with DAWs; adept at handling and editing audio inside Adobe Audition. Expert sense of audio storytelling, knowing how to develop audio soundscapes, create audio world, and enhance actors' performances.
