    Description

    Our Mission

The San Damiano College for the Trades forms students to enact the words spoken to St. Francis of Assisi at San Damiano, "Francis, rebuild my Church, for it is falling into ruins."

San Damiano College fulfills this mission principally by educating the whole student in the manual, moral, intellectual, and spiritual virtue necessary to discern and live a particular vocation to restore and rebuild the Church whether in the lay, clerical, or religious life. The College forms students to recover the dignity of work and integrate it into the whole of a life ordered toward the Kingdom of God in accord with the law of Christ and His Church.
