High School History and Humanities Teacher

Chesterton Academy of the Immaculate Heart, a classical high school in the Catholic tradition, seeks a talented and dynamic History/Humanities teacher with a background in liberal arts to join our faculty starting in the 2023-24 academic year.

The successful candidate will be able to teach History and other Humanities classes for multiple grade levels. Our curriculum overview can be found on our school website at https://chestertoniheart.org/academics/#curriculum. A bachelor's or master's degree in History or a related Humanities field is required. Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.

The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
