Marketing Internship: Hybrid, In office + WFH schedule
Location: In Person (preferred) or Virtual (if out of state via Zoom, email, Google docs, Canva, etc.)

Job Description
Vita Optimum Counseling and Consulting is looking for a creative and self-motivated individual to serve as our marketing intern from May or June until August 2023.
We are a private psychotherapy practice based in Chicago near O'Hare airport and we specialize in offering therapy integrated with the Catholic/Christian worldview. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping a small business share their mission with prospective clients and community partners through developing promotional content, marketing materials, and social media content as well as conducting market research.
You'll work under the supervision of our Clinical Director and Business Manager. This is an unpaid internship position and is ideal for a college student seeking internship credit as part of their degree.

Marketing Intern Responsibilities:
Perform market analysis and research
Assist with daily administrative tasks related to marketing
Create and manage social media content
Monitor all social media platforms for trends, ideas, and content feedback
Help with event planning in the area
Research and evaluate competitor marketing material and digital content
Help with the creation of marketing materials

Marketing Intern Requirements:
Current enrollment in an Undergraduate course in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field
Familiarity with marketing software
Familiarity with social media platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have a passion for marketing and marketing technologies
Must be able to multitask and handle competing priorities
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
