History Teacher
Central Catholic High School is seeking a History teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Applicants must be enthusiastic about the mission of Central Catholic High School. They should have the ability to construct their curricula, develop syllabi, hold high academic expectations for all their students, offer support to students at all ability levels, collaborate with colleagues, and deliver high quality instruction. The preferred candidate has an enthusiasm for working with youth, a strong understanding of core concepts and curricula, and the desire to work in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities
Support and uphold the Catholic mission of the school
Plan for instruction with logically sequenced objectives
Use effective and current instructional and assessment methods/models
Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom
Communicate with parents regarding academic, behavioral, or safety concerns
Maintain appropriate confidential records (gradebook, attendance, etc.)
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the work environment and grow professionally
Establish positive relationships and rapport with students
Required Qualifications
Current Professional Educators License or Certificate with proper endorsement.
Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church
