Peoria Notre Dame High School is seeking a Principal for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applicants must be enthusiastic about the Catholic mission of the school. We seek to develop our students holistically, through the formation of body, mind and soul. The principal is responsible for the day-to-day academic operations of the school. They will work to ensure that all curricular programs are aligned with the school's vision and mission and will collaborate with others in the implementation of instructional initiatives that promote the educational development of the students and the professional development of the faculty.
The preferred candidate will have experience in administration, enthusiasm for youth, and the desire to work in a faith-based environment. The principal will report directly to the Office of Catholic Schools superintendent. The principal will supervise the assistant principal, dean of students, athletic director, campus ministry, counselors, student services & teachers.

The candidate desires to serve in a Catholic High School, values the teachings of the Catholic Church, and believes in the mission of Catholic Education. The candidate also meets the following requirements:
- Knowledgeable and practicing Catholic who sees their commitment to Catholic education as a ministry
-Master's degree or higher in educational administration or school leadership
-State of Illinois school administrative credential (or eligible for the credential)
-Ten of more years of work experience as a teacher and/or school administrator
-Passion for Catholic education and a dedication to students, faculty, and parents
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Demonstrate collaborative leadership ability
