Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is a coeducational college preparatory institution of Catholic Education of North Georgia, Inc. (CENGI), which provides a Catholic secondary education for approximately 950 students in grades 9 through 12. It exists to provide a nurturing educational environment that transforms lives in Christ while integrating spiritual formation, academic excellence, artistic sensibility, and athletic achievement. The objective of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is to provide a safe environment and state of the art facilities to prepare students for learning in a collegiate environment best equipped for building 21st century skills. Founded in 2000, its 68-acre campus includes state of the art learning commons, a brand- new STREAM lab, as well as extensive athletic and fine art facilities.
Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is dedicated to the development of students spiritually, morally, intellectually, and physically. Approximately 80 faculty members deliver a multi-level curriculum that provides a variety of educational programs that meets the needs of each student, offering over 130 courses, including 27 Advanced Placement offerings. Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is accredited by Cognia as part of the system accreditation of all Archdiocese of Atlanta Catholic Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), the College Board, the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), and the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS). Blessed Trinity offers a fully college-preparatory curriculum and was recognized nationally as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2014.
Blessed Trinity Catholic High School provides exceptional extracurricular opportunities, including a robust athletic program with 22 sports fielding 50 athletic teams with over 700 student-athletes. Notably, the school has achieved over 50 state championships. Extra-curricular offerings also include an outstanding fine arts program featuring a symphonic band, chorus, theatrical alliance, dance, and visual arts. The President serves as the chief executive officer of the school and is responsible for the operational vitality for the school, including advancement, enrollment, marketing, finances, and capital projects. The President leads and articulates the school's mission and vision, creates and implements strategic plans, and builds and nurtures constituent and stakeholder relationships on and off campus. The President also bears ultimate responsibility for the school's Catholic identity and is supported by a robust senior leadership team in carrying out these responsibilities.
Additionally, the President works with an Advisory Council who are designated by the President and approved by the Archbishop. The council includes alumni, current parents, parents of alumni, and appointed clergy. The President reports to and is evaluated by the Superintendent of Schools and Office of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
