Consolidated Catholic Administrative Services based in Roswell, GA, an established Catholic nonprofit administrative services organization serving Catholic apostolates nationwide through the Catholic Church's New Evangelization mission, is seeking an energetic, flexible and proficient full-time Gift Processor.
The Gift Processor is responsible for processing gifts including sorting, data entry, bank deposits, and gift research. Duties include handling the requests from fundraising office administrators, processing high-end gifts and processing adjustments and exceptions.
Discretion and prudence are critical attributes of this role- confidential information is to remain so, during and after employment
Check scanning and remote electronic deposit to bank
Communication with fundraising office administrators and accounting, responding to inquiries, solving problems, gift adjustments, gift amendments, gift refunds
Handling exceptions, pledges, recurring gifts, soft credits, matching gifts, event registration fees
Credit card and ACH gifts (EFT): adding, updating, and terminating, electronic transmissions
Canadian tax receipts
Maintaining an archive of transaction documents, cancelled checks, pledge cards, Canadian tax receipts, EFT authorizations
Other tasks and projects as directed by Supervisor
At least one year of experience in an office support role
Ability to analyze gifts, financial and statistical record-keeping techniques
Ability to learn database and complex data entry codes and procedures quickly and efficiently
Detail oriented, organized with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must have organizational skills, time management and people skills with demonstrated ability to follow through
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Able to manage tasks independently, and make day to day decisions
Previous experience with Salesforce preferred
Complete respect and enthusiasm for the Catholic Church, Regnum Christi and the Legion of Christ is required. Practicing member of the Catholic Church and of Regnum Christi preferred
Hourly rate of pay $17.00 per hour
