Youth Development Program Manage

Our organization seeks a leader to manage our Youth Development program in Ft. Myers, Florida, serving roughly 60 children, K-8th grade, through an after-school program for at-risk youth. The Program Manager leads a staff of three to carry out reading and positive youth development programs, set in a beautiful, newly renovated youth center in the Dunbar neighborhood of Ft. Myers. The program aims to foster the holistic growth and well-being of young people by promoting their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development. The aim is to equip young people with the skills, values, and attitudes they need to lead healthy, productive, and fulfilling lives.

Developing and implementing program activities and curriculum.
Recruiting, training, and supervising program staff and volunteers.
Building relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Ensuring program compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Developing and managing program budget and resources.
Assessing program outcomes and making necessary adjustments.
Maintaining accurate records and data management.
Building relationships and engaging with program participants and their families.
Facilitating workshops, trainings, and other educational opportunities.
Promoting the program to the wider community and seeking funding opportunities.
Fundraising and grant writing to secure resources for the program.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, psychology, social work, or youth development.
Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
Knowledge of positive youth development principles and best practices.
Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
Experience in fundraising and grant writing.
Cultural competence and experience working with diverse communities.
Ability to think creatively and problem-solve.
Passion for working with youth and a commitment to their growth and development.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
