Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant (Full-Time)

Royal Palm Academy is a joyful, vibrant, independent and family-oriented Catholic PK-8 school located in beautiful Naples, Florida. Royal Palm Academy is taking applications for a full-time Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant (3 year olds) for the 2022-2023 school year. This position is a full-time hourly position with benefits.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Passionate about teaching elementary school aged students, and bring an energetic, joyful vibrancy to the classroom experience for our students. ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Know, teach, and act consistently in accordance with the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Royal Palm Academy.
Assist with age-appropriate extended or enrichment opportunities.
Possess a strong classroom management skillset for ages 3-4 year old students.
Reliable, flexible, organized, hard-working, patient, excellent communication skills, and outstanding with children.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Previous experience in a Catholic PK-8 school setting is a plus but not a hiring pre-requisite.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER DEMANDS INCLUDE:
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading.
This position is required to closely monitor students in a variety of locations, inside and outside, including athletic fields and areas with noise and activity.
Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions with students, parents, and fellow teachers.
