St. Anthony Catholic School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, seeks a qualified and experienced full-time Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the current 2022-2023 school year. The applicant must be a dynamic and innovative educator with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills and highly motivate students to be engaged learners.

The Middle School Mathematics teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and Saint Anthony Catholic School. Functions and Responsibility:
Use technology skills, digital books, and interactive classroom technology in lessons, as well as integrate technology into the subject.
Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom.
Collaborate with colleagues for the benefit of the students.
Be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
Participate in reflective, self-directed, on-going professional development.
Create and define goals and objectives for unit and daily lessons plans, prepare classroom activities, organize teaching materials, evaluate student performance, maintain classroom records, and manage time effectively.
Submit grades in a timely manner.
Hold conferences with students, parents, administrators, and other professionals.
Proficiency with educational technology including the iPad and Google Workspace.
Participate in faculty meetings, retreats, school assemblies, and special events.
Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Education or Mathematics.
Florida Department of Education certificate in Mathematics, temporary or professional required.
Minimum of two year's teaching experience preferred.
Excellent classroom management.
Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies.
Able to work collaboratively with other teachers and department staff.
Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
Strong spelling and grammar skills.
Must have a professional demeanor.
