St. John the Beloved Parish, a dynamic and faith filled parish, is seeking a part time receptionist/administrative assistant. This position is the first person a caller or visitor hears or sees and is the first impression of our Parish. This individual will be inviting and polite at all times. The receptionist is responsible for greeting those coming into the office and speaking to individuals over the phone, providing information or directing them to the proper person. The hours are 1:30pm to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Main duties include: - Answering phones, directing inquiries - Receiving visitors and deliveries - Scheduling funerals from Funeral Homes - Posting offertory envelopes to parishioners' accounts in Parish database - Posting sacramental records to parish permanent books - Prepare baptism requests and coordinate with Priests and Deacons - Distribute and keep track of facility key requests - Maintain parishioner database; address verifications and maintain mailing list for envelope company.
