Supervisor of Facilities, Buildings and Grounds

Salary range: $50-55K - Salaried position with family health and retirement benefits.

Job Description: Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, CT is seeking a full-time supervisor of facilities and ground with hands-one experience. Duties include general maintenance, managing inspections, preventive maintenance of boilers and other HVAC systems, seeking competitive bids from contractors for major projects, supervise a part-time staff, works collaboratively with CFO for contracts related to this area, work collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Campus Operations and other key staff members at HACS. Other duties related to this position.

The successful candidate will strongly support the mission of HACS and contribute to the overall excellence of that mission. The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the Charism and Mission of the College and Seminary and the Society of the Missionaries of the Holy Apostles.

Qualifications include:
Ideally, a high school or college graduate
US resident
Experience with general building codes/and construction design
Skillful contract negotiator who understands fair bidding process
Honesty, integrity, and a superior work-ethic
