Job Summary: Instant Offer Furniture is seeking a reliable, hard-working Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely transporting and delivering furniture to customers, completing in-home placements, and assisting with warehouse organization and pickups. You represent our company in the field, so professionalism, customer service, and care for people's homes and belongings are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Safely drive company box truck to customer homes, job sites, and warehouse locations -Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture with care -Deliver and place items inside customers' homes while protecting floors, walls, and doorways -Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery windows, placement preferences, and any issues -Assist with furniture pickups from residential homes when needed -Complete basic assembly or disassembly of furniture -Follow delivery routes, schedules, and instructions from dispatch/manager -Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections -Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment -Uphold IOF's standards of honesty, respect, and excellent service
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license with clean driving record -Ability to lift and move 75-150 lbs with a partner -Experience driving box trucks preferred, but not required -Strong communication and customer-service skills -Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently -Comfort working in a fast-paced, physical environment -Professional appearance and positive attitude -Must pass DOT medical exam (company paid)
